The 5.45×39 mm PS cartridge is a 2nd-level penetration ammunition designed for the early stages of the game. Despite having higher base damage compared to armor-piercing rounds, its penetration capability is insufficient to deal with even most budget body armors.
In practice, the PS is hardly used. Most players switch to 4th-level cartridges as soon as possible, as these allow for confident combat against armored opponents and remain relevant throughout the game.
