A realistic shooter
where mistakes cost you
Every raid is a separate run. You assemble your own kit — weapon, attachments, armor, ammo, meds — and all of it goes into the location with you. Die, and your gear and loot stay on your body for whoever gets there first.
That's the core mechanic of the game: risk calculation. Take an expensive kit and play to win, or go in bare-bones to scout. Weapon attachments, ammo type and armor class decide a firefight before reaction time does.
Between raids there's a stash, traders, the marketplace, upgrades and seasonal tasks. Progress accumulates, but it's always tested by one thing: did you make it to extraction or not.

The short version
No, Arena Breakout: Infinite is free to play on PC. In-game gear purchases don't give a gameplay advantage — the kit is still lost in the raid.
It's a separate PC game with more demanding gunplay, recoil and economy. The mechanics are familiar, but mobile habits don't fully carry over.
A cheap kit and the goal of reaching extraction. The wiki has a set of starter builds with prices and a breakdown of which ammo penetrates base armor early on.
The game runs in seasons: some progress and rewards are tied to the season. We flag in the news exactly what resets before a new season starts.
