Is it worth buying the Classic Steel Helmet?

Yes, if you need an inexpensive class 2 helmet with a high ricochet chance. It is significantly better than most class 1 helmets and is well-suited for budget raids, and can even withstand hits from powerful ammunition.

How does the Classic Steel Helmet differ from other helmets?

The main feature is the combination of class 2 protection, a steel body, and a high ricochet chance with no penalties to speed, ergonomics, or hearing. However, it only protects the head and lacks modern additional protective elements.

For which raids is it suitable?

Best suited for budget builds and missions where more reliable protection is needed, but there is no need to spend on expensive equipment.

Classic Steel Helmet

Description

The Classic Steel Helmet is a budget helmet with a protection class of 2, made from hardened steel. Despite its outdated design, it provides decent head protection and has a high chance of ricochet, making it effective against weak and some medium ammunition. The helmet does not reduce movement speed, affect ergonomics, or impair hearing, making it one of the best options among cheap models for early raids.
