Why is the AS200 rarely used?

The main reason is the ability to install only a 4-class face shield. For such an expensive helmet, players expect a higher level of facial protection, so they often choose the IND50, 6BNT, or other models. This issue is frequently noted by the community.

Does the AS200 have any strengths?

Yes. It is very light for a 6-class helmet, has high durability, and does not have an ergonomics penalty. However, these advantages rarely compensate for the weak facial protection and high price.

Which is better to choose — AS200 or IND50?

The IND50 is considered a better choice. It is also compatible with NVG and face shields, has almost no penalties to characteristics, and is significantly more popular among players, despite both helmets using only 4-class shields.

Heavy Tactical Helmet AS200

Description

The Heavy Tactical Helmet AS200 is one of the least popular 6-class helmets. Despite its light weight and high durability, it is rarely used due to its very high cost and limitations in facial protection. The AS200 can only be equipped with a 4-class face shield, so most players prefer the IND50, 6BNT, or other helmets that provide a higher level of facial protection for comparable money.
