12×70 mm cartridge with 8.5 mm shot.
12×70 mm shot type 8 is the most popular and effective ammunition of caliber 12×70 mm in Arena Breakout: Infinite. Despite having no armor penetration, this cartridge is considered the meta due to its massive damage to unprotected limbs.
The main feature of the shot is eight pellets, each dealing 43 damage. At close range, a volley can almost instantly incapacitate an opponent if it hits the legs. This is why shot type 8 is used by nearly all players who prefer shotguns.

Shot type 8 practically does not penetrate armor. With a penetration level of 0, a penetration value of 4, and armor damage of 1, shooting at a bulletproof vest is pointless.
The full potential of the cartridge is revealed when shooting at unprotected limbs. Eight pellets with 43 damage each can destroy an opponent in one or two shots if most of the charge hits the legs.
The main drawback is distance. The shot retains maximum effectiveness at about 7–10 meters. After that, the pellets begin to spread significantly, causing the number of hits to drop sharply and the damage to become unstable.
