The developers of Arena Breakout: Infinite have officially launched registration for the open beta test of Season 6. This time, participants are allowed to freely publish materials from the test server, so the community will soon be able to thoroughly explore all the novelties of the upcoming update.
According to preliminary information, the test server launch is expected on June 10.
Preparation for the announcement began a few weeks ago. In the first teaser, the developers showed a number of details that immediately caught the attention of players.
Among them, documents mentioning a 'Personal Action Plan', Dick Vinson's loyalty program, TV news about an approaching storm, and materials from the astronomical bureau about long nights could be noticed.
These details spawned many theories, the main one being the possible appearance of night raids and further development of weather effects on maps.
Judging by the previously published roadmap, Arena Breakout: Infinite is expected to receive several major innovations in the near future.
Expected appearances:
• a perk and skill system for characters;
• a new cooperative PvE mode;
• 'Masters Tournament' mode on the Airport map;
• a possible trader reputation and loyalty system;
• new mechanics related to night and weather conditions.
While developers do not officially disclose details of most features, they are most frequently mentioned both in the roadmap and in recent teasers.
Particular attention is drawn to the theme of nighttime. Several promotional materials for the season contain hints of long nights, storms, and deteriorated visibility conditions.
Because of this, many players are confident that full-fledged night raids will finally appear in the game in the upcoming updates. If this indeed happens, the usual gameplay may change significantly: the importance of night vision devices, flashlights, and stealth movement on the map will increase.
The trailer for the new season of the mobile Arena Breakout provided additional food for thought. Historically, most of the content of the mobile and PC versions eventually appears in both games, so players carefully examined the showcased novelties.
The main finds were the 'Bay' map and the long-awaited zombie mode. Both elements have long been featured in community discussions and could potentially become part of the content of Season 6 or 7 of the PC version.
In addition, the mobile version continues to develop the mystical direction of the game, adding new anomalous locations and unusual game events.
Currently, it is only known that registration for the test is already open, and the server launch is expected on June 10. After its opening, players will be able to independently test new mechanics and share their impressions without restrictions on publishing materials.
This means that in the first days of testing, the community will get answers to most questions about the content of the update.
While Season 6 of Arena Breakout: Infinite remains one big mystery, the existing hints form a rather interesting picture. The perk system, possible trader reputation, new PvE content, night raids, and prospects for the 'Bay' map can significantly change the usual gameplay.
If even part of the community's expectations is confirmed in the beta test, then Season 6 has every chance to become one of the most large-scale updates of the game in recent times. It remains to wait for the test server to open and find out which of the numerous theories will turn out to be true.
