MoreFun Studios developers have launched a new Ground-Effect Vehicle Progression event, which turned into a real race among bloggers and game partners within the first hours. The main goal is to upgrade the Screenplane to the final stage as quickly as possible and obtain one of the rarest IDs in the game.
The event mechanics resemble the previous horse progression event, but now players are offered to develop their own Screenplane right during raids.
To gain experience, players need to take the Screenplane on raids, search unlooted military and electronic containers, and then successfully evacuate. Additional EXP can be earned by absorbing other players' screenplanes.
As progression unfolds, new tiers open up, with the main goal being to reach the 4th tier — that's where the most unusual part of the event begins.
After unlocking the final Screenplane, the player gains access to a special one-life clear challenge — a map clearing mode with one life.
Developers do not disclose the details of the challenge, but the main thing is known: death means a failed attempt. After successfully completing it, the Screenplane evolves and receives a unique ID number.
Moreover, the number directly depends on the speed of completing the challenge. The faster the player completes the challenge without deaths, the smaller their ID will be.
In fact, the event has turned into a global speedrun race for the most prestigious numbers.
For ABI partners, developers have separately launched a competition for the smallest IDs. The top 3 participants with the best results are promised to be immortalized right inside the game — their avatars will appear on advertising billboards on one of the maps.
Because of this, players are literally competing in the first minutes after the event launch, trying to reach the final challenge as quickly as possible.
Judging by the community's reaction, unique IDs are already beginning to be perceived as a new status item — almost like collectible 'reds', only tied to the player's speed and skill.
The first bloggers to receive the Screenplane statue and top IDs were:
— LEVVA
— DUSSHNILA
— MartX
At the same time, two places in the top three were taken by representatives of the CIS scene, which quickly began to be discussed in the Arena Breakout: Infinite community.
Initially, players assumed that the developers were preparing a separate hardcore mode with one life, but later it became known that it was not about a new mode, but about a special quest chain for owners of the 4th tier Screenplane.
Nevertheless, the mechanics themselves still look unusual. Players will have to go through a series of challenges without the right to make mistakes, and the main reward will be the evolution of the Screenplane and obtaining a unique ID number.
It is because of this system that the event has already turned into a real race — players and bloggers are trying to complete the quest chain as quickly as possible and get the smallest IDs in the game.
